I’ve been working with eyes now for the better part of

  ten years, and throughout that time I’ve found there’s

    something about the gaze that needs to be

      captured. A small piece of the person that needs to

        last.

             It’s the Presence

              These small works are based on exploring how

               the gaze can connect the viewer to something

               deeper – sometimes uncomfortable,

               sometimes peaceful, but always HUMAN. Both

              subject and symbol. The eye demands

             presence; not only allowing connection to the

            individual, but inviting the viewer to pause and

          meet the gaze, to see and be seen in return.
